  Floswimming (Online - Video Sharing)

Many people are much better visual learners than kinetic ones.  With that in mind, I’ve found a way to video tape swimmers with commentary about technique and post them on a secure web-site for our team to view.  I hope this is to your liking, Here is a link to the site, and the log-in information required:

Becoming a member of our Masters team:

You need two things:

1) Become a member of the SWAT team. Cost during summer months is $60 per month per person. We offer a discount for couples.

Down load needed document: MASTERS MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT

2) Aside from registering with SWAT, you also need to register with US Masters Swimming. This is mainly for insurance purposes but you’ll benefit in other ways for example by receiving the Swimmer magazine. The cost is $35 per year. A discount if offered for people registering after August.  The online Masters Registration can be done here: https://www.clubassistant.com/club/USMS.cfm?l=35

When you go to the online form, please note that Spokane Waves Aquatic Masters (SWAT) is one of only two or three clubs in the LMSC (most others are workout teams which are part of Hydropower Masters club). If you were a member in previous years, you were a member of Hydropower Masters, so for 2010 registration you have to click on Select a new club.and then "different club in the same LMSC" and following this you select SWAT. New members can simply fill in our club abbreviation (SWAT) and go from there.

USMS also offers a discount for couples. In that case you can not register online. You have to register by using the hard-copy of the form, sent in two forms and one check ($60) to the registrar. The from can be found at: http://www.inlandnwmasters.org/site-pdfs/inlandnw-reg-form.pdf
